I’m Cassie Clayton, founder of Clayton Method.
For more than 14 years, I have worked across websites, custom technology, business systems, implementation, and Operations. I have built and deployed dozens of production websites, including a 30-site AI-assisted development and infrastructure migration initiative.
I have also led Operations at a fast-moving global company, coordinating a distributed team of about 20 people across the United States and Italy while supporting a brand reaching about 45 million people across platforms.
Those experiences taught me how technology, people, systems, and execution affect one another inside a growing business. My mix of technical and operational experience is what has shaped Clayton Method.
My background includes:My career started in television, production, and live entertainment technology, where I learned to troubleshoot quickly, work through complexity, and keep things moving. In 2012, I started my own business building websites and managing the systems behind the work.
Over time, the work expanded into Operations, custom technology, automation, and AI as I saw how closely the pieces of a business actually connect. That evolution became Clayton Method.
I focus on what the business actually needs before deciding what should be built.
Technology should reduce friction, improve visibility, or make the business easier to run.
Complexity should earn its place. Sometimes the best solution is removing something.
Websites, systems, AI, workflows, and Operations all affect one another.
I use the same approach inside my own business, including building a Business OS that reduced my software costs by more than $15,000 per year.
I ask questions, look for the underlying problem, and tell you when I think there is a simpler answer.
I think beyond the immediate task and build around the way the business actually operates.
